Homegrown Meats is an independent, multiple family-owned beef jerky company located in San Diego, CA. We source our ingredients locally whenever possible and partner exclusively with ranchers who raise grass-fed cattle in a thoughtful manner and implement sustainable farming practices.

Each batch of beef jerky is tumbled for at least 24 hours in marinade and laid on each cooking screen by hand to maintain quality control. We use natural flavorings to create the best-tasting beef jerky possible that’s low sodium, low sugar, and high in protein. Homegrown Meats Beef Jerky is gluten-free, non-GMO, and:

We’ve had the great fortune of partnering with our friends at Gringo Bandito, an Orange County hot sauce company and San Diego-based Stone Brewing Co. to create one-of-a-kind flavors Tangerine Express IPA and Arrogant Bastard Ale. We’ve even made for our Paleo friends their own recipe by substituting honey for brown sugar.

As we continue to grow, our process remains simple: Source quality ingredients from sustainable farms to produce delicious-tasting jerky.
